Eastward Ho

We had a wonderful weekend in Sheraton Wyoming with Garcia and Tom Michelena. We passed up on the Rodeo as it was HOT!!! It was over 100 F every day. We just sat around and had a geat visit. Tom had to do some Haying and Rob went out to the field for awhile and rode around in Tom's new air conditioned tractor. Garcia's Mom and Uncle larry were there too. Also their son TJ and his girlfriendcame home just because we were there. Amanda lives in Casper and TJ lives in Laramy.

The next stop was in Wall SD. Another hot day 107F. We didn't even go over to Wall Drug. I went outside the motorhome just to have a short swim covered in sunscreen. The UV Index was really high. We left Wall and continued east. When we stopped for lunch we put the generator on but nothing would work. We realized that we weren't getting voltage to the coach. We phoned and found out there was a good generator tech in St Paul MN so that was our next stop. That was a really long day, 550 miles but at least it was getting cooler, 90's.

We stayed in St Paul for 3 nights while the generator was fixed. It was a voltage regulator. I am really glad to be out of the prairies. Minnesota and Wisconsin are beautiful states. The weather has cooled down, 80's yesterday. No A/C needed last night. We are now staying at Wisconsoin Dells. This place is a kids dream place. Water parks and Amusement parks everywhere. We were going to ride a Duck (vehicle that does land and water) but it looks like the campground at the Air Show is getting busy so we are heading there today instead of tomorrow. We went to see Harry Potter last night, a great movie!!!
