We ended up staying an extra night in Sturgis as we liked the place and it isn't as far to Pennsylvania as we thought. We left there Saturday morning and drove to Souix Falls where we stayed in a Flying J for the night. We got an RV spot instead of with the trucks. It was warm during the day but cooled off at night.

Yesterday we drove to Kansas City. It was Hot Hot. The high yesterday was 101 F . Too warm for me. We stayed in a Walmart last night. We ran the generator until we went to bed so we could run all 3 A/C's. It made the evening bearable. We also bought two small fans for $12.95 in Walmart and ran them all night. Neither of us slept all that well. We are just shy of St Louis right now in a flying J. We have stopped for luch and a snooze. It is heating up again already and it is just 11AM. We plan to be in Effingham IL by tonight in a flyingJ if they have RV space or a Walmart there.

Carolyn and Gary, we are both really happy that we will get to spend time with you next winter. We think of you often Carolyn every time we see a Dollar General Truck on the road. Rob always says there goes Carolyn's Truck. HA
