Well we are back from our fishing trip with the Eng's and the Bright,s. We had a fabulous time. The first three nights we spent at Salmon Point Resort where we sat on the banks overlooking the straight. Every night the cruise ships went by on their way to and from Alaska. It was great fun trying to figure out which one was which with our binoculars. The second picture shows our view which was fabulous.

The first picture is our view of Great Central Lake which is where we spent the next three nights at the Ark Resort. The weather was awesome and we all got a little tan and a few bites from the no-see-ums (small insects). We had a fire every night here as the weather was pretty warm. Rob's Aunt Lil, her husband Simon and her son Ken came out for a fire one night and Tony put on a magic show for them.

We only ate out once. We went for chinese food in Port Albernie. The rest of the time we rotated portions of the dinner and boy did we eat good. Great main courses, great veggies and great desserts.I know I need to loose some weight after this week.

We spent the last two nights at Living Forest in Nanaimo with the rest of our Good Sam group. It was a very relaxed weekend. We all had a good time. The girls made cards and the guys played a golf game. We had a fire each night and just relaxed the rest of the time. We went to Smitties for breakfast this morning and then came home.

Tony and Rob had a great time in the boat but neither of them caught any fish. Tony put in a good effort but they weren't biting. Rob tried a few times but had more fun running Tony around the lake while he trolled.

We are now back in Victoria and back to our normal routine. I will write again next week.
