We have arrived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We spent five nights in Wilson NC. There is not alot in Wilson but they do have a number of beautiful old buildings with lots of columns. One of these buildings was the Library where we went to do emails. We didn't do alot, just rested after our marathon through Washington. The campground was not the best as it had just been taken over by new owners but they are really making an effort to get it back in shape. The pool was not functional but it didn't matter as the weather was gray and cool the whole time we were there. I just read and stitched. Rob read and slept.

We arrived here yesterday. We are staying in the KOA as it had WIFI and the best price in town. Unfortunately we are about a half hour away from our friends Scott and Judy but that is alright, we will make it work. We met with them last night and walked on the boardwalk in Murrel's Inlet, had a drink and went for dinner. It was very pleasant and it was so nice to be in the warm weather and sunshine again. Today we are going to Scott's this morning and then on to the Wooden Boat Show where teams are given a certain time period to make boats and then they will race them at the end of the day. Sounds like the Pumpkin Festival in NS except instead of pumpkins they actually make boats. It should be fun.

Tomorrow Rob and Scott are entering a Chili Cookoff. Rob is not doing the cooking although he does make good chili. He is going to be Scott's server. It should be good for a few chuckles. Well taht is all for now. I better go get ready to go.
