Oscar Party, Orlando Visit

The time is passing and our stay in Archer is nearing its end. We left there on the 26th and came to Orlando to visit with Pat and Jim Smith, nice folks from Massachucettes, who we met in this campground two years ago. We are staying here until Monday and then back to Archer for 9 days. We will then head north to Myrtle Beach for the SE Bluebird Rally on March 15-18th. We will then drive to Perry GA to attend the FMCA Rally ,March 19-22nd. We will then float around up there until the Car Races at Maxton NCat the end of the month. Then we will start our westward trek to Southern California for a couple of visits and then home.

We are enjoying our visit here with Pat and Jim. We have had several road trips. The first was to the Orlando Science Centre where we viewed the exhibit called "Body Works". It was a display of actual cadivers that had been preserved with a plastic product that had been injected to replace the body fluids and then they removed parts of the body's so you could actually see organs, bones, blood vessels etc. I thought it might bother me as they were actual people but I found it so interesting that I forgot about the fact the bodies were real. This display contained bodies that were all Asian. There are several displays around North America. I am not sure if all the displays are Asian. If you get the chance to see one of the displays it is a must. We had another road trip to Camping World and it was very shocking but we didn't buy anything. We then went out for lunch at Sweet Tomatoes , a salad buffet, which we all like alot. Today we drove to Largo, two hours away to have lunch with Military friends of ours, Gord and Sue who now live in Sarnia, ON in the summer and Largo in the winter.

We had our Oscar PJ Party before we left for Orlando. It was lots of fun and some of the movies we saw got Oscars although we didn't always agree with there choise. Before the party we saw two more of the movies up for awards. One was Half Nelson which was ok but I didn't think it was outstanding and we saw Venus, which was quite good and we thought Peter O'toole was outstanding. I have added a picture of the PJ Beauties.
That's all the news for this week.
