We are back from the valley. The pumpkin races were quite a hoot. Most managed to stay afloat. There was a parade first and Gary Beals the runner up from the first Canadian Idol was in the parade. He sang the National Anthem before the races started.

We are waiting today to see what the weather is bringing us. There is a sub-tropical storm meeting up with a low off the coast. We are supposed to have high winds and very heavy rain this afternoon and evening. I am supposed to be going to friends for dinner but that may not happen. These people are the ones who gave us our dog Arthur.
